Willis Law is pleased to announce the hiring of Brian Thompson as paralegal.
Brian received his Bachelor of Science in Paralegal Studies with honors from Davenport University. While at Davenport, he earned the designation A.L.P. (Accredited Legal Professional) from NALS...the association for legal professionals and was accepted into the Alpha Sigma Lambda Honor Society. Over the last seven years, he has assisted attorneys in the areas of Federal and State civil litigation, criminal defense, family law, estate and Medicaid planning, probate and trust litigation, intellectual property law, and Michigan Court of Appeals/Michigan Supreme Court civil and criminal appellate review cases. Prior to entering the legal field, Brian spent over a decade as a financial advisor focusing on individual retirement and business continuation planning.
In his free time, Brian enjoys golf, bowling and distance running. He has participated in the Race to Wrigley for the last three years, raising money for Cubs Charities, and last year joined the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital Chicago Marathon Team to help raise money for the hospital.
