Cody Hayward is a Law Clerk with Willis Law. He is currently enrolled in his final term at Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School, where he is seeking a Juris Doctor degree.
While at Cooley Law, he has competed in moot court competitions, served as vice president for the West Michigan Student Bar Association, served as a teaching assistant for Contracts and Federal Income Taxation, was an associate editor for the Homeland and National Security Law Review, and received Cooley’s award for earning the highest grade in Advocacy, Civil Procedure II, Constitutional Law II, and Property II. Prior to attending Cooley, Cody attended Grand Valley State University where he earned a B.S. in Political Science.
Upon graduation, Cody plans on becoming licensed to practice law in the state of Michigan and will continue his legal career here at Willis Law.
