Davis C. Martin, J.D.

Counsel

Davis C. Martin is a counsel attorney with Willis Law. He is licensed to practice law in Michigan. Davis is a member of the Grand Rapids Bar Association, the Kalamazoo County Bar Association, and the Grand Rapids Young Professionals.

Davis graduated from Capital University Law School in Columbus, Ohio, where he earned his Juris Doctor. While at Capital Law, he was selected to be a Staff Member for Law Review and authored a Note regarding the Sixth Amendment right to effective assistance of counsel. Davis was then selected to be a Note Editor in his final year at Capital Law. He served as the Peer Advisor Coordinator, where he established programs to help new law students tackle the rigors of law school. Davis was highly involved in student organizations at Capital Law, serving as a Board Member for the First Generation Law Students Association, the Asian-Pacific American Law Students Association, and the Tax Law Society. He received recognition for obtaining the highest grade in multiple corporate-related courses. Prior to becoming an attorney, Davis earned his B.S. in Economics and Business Administration from Cornerstone University. While at Cornerstone, Davis played on the baseball team and was voted a captain. He and his wife, Amber, live in Rockford, Michigan, and enjoy golfing and playing with their corgi, Frankie.
