KALAMAZOO, Mich., August 1, 2014 Attorney Shaun P. Willis, J.D., and Attorney Brett A. Cummings, J.D., of Willis Law, recently gave presentations to the Greater Kalamazoo Area Realtors on the topic of asset protection for realtors. The program provided information regarding benefits of asset protection planning and optimal time for asset protection planning. Also provided by Attorneys Willis and Cummings was advice regarding advantages of using Revocable Living Trusts, elements of the most common real estate plan, as well as information on protecting commissions through the Broker Lien Act. The program offered a two hour continuing education credit for all realtors in attendance.
